Dancers – Gibran Murrieta

Gibran Murrieta is an aspiring dance artist from San Luis, AZ. He had a passion for dance from a young age but didn’t start his dance journey until his junior year of high school. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Computer Science at St. Olaf College and will be a junior in the upcoming school year. He has worked with talented peers and guest artists in a variety of works to expand his abilities and knowledge of dance including an excerpt from BRKFST Dance Company’s “60/40”, Tyreis Hunte’s “We, The Beatitude” performed at Carpenter Performing Arts Center, and Mathew Janczewski’s  “Badagada”.

The Mission of ARENA DANCES is to make dance accessible to all through the presentation of contemporary dance, educational outreach, and community gatherings to inspire, promote dialogue and diversity.
